Personal limits

Responsible Use – vipyes

Game-related activity can involve financial risk. Use clear time and spending limits, protect account access and stop when continued activity would interfere with other responsibilities.

Set a spending limit before starting

Choose an amount that does not use money needed for food, housing, bills, debt payments, savings goals or other essentials. Do not increase the limit in order to recover a loss. A limit only works when it is decided before emotions from the session influence the decision.

Do not borrow money to continue Game activity. If spending is no longer within the amount you deliberately set, stop.

Set a time limit and take breaks

Decide how long you intend to spend before starting. Use a timer if needed. Long uninterrupted sessions can make decisions less deliberate, especially when combined with tiredness, stress or alcohol. A break should be a real pause away from the screen rather than simply switching to another Game.

Do not treat Game activity as income

Results are not guaranteed and past outcomes do not create a promise about the next one. Do not rely on Game activity to pay bills, repay debt or meet financial targets. If a promotion or membership status encourages spending beyond your personal limit, the personal limit should come first.

Protect account access

Keep passwords, OTPs and PINs private. Use a device lock, avoid shared-device auto-login and be careful with messages that create urgency around account verification. Follow applicable age requirements, Philippine requirements and local rules that apply to your situation.

If you are having difficulty staying within your own limits, step away and seek support from people or services you trust.

Use a complete entertainment budget

A useful limit includes all Game-related spending for the chosen period, not only the amount on one session or one device. Compare the total with your normal budget and essential expenses. If the amount would reduce money reserved for food, housing, bills, debt or savings, it is outside a responsible entertainment budget.

Do not redefine an essential expense as “temporary” just to make more room for play.

Notice signs that a session is becoming automatic

Repeatedly increasing speed, ignoring planned breaks, hiding spending, chasing an earlier loss or continuing mainly because you feel frustrated are signals to stop. A preset time limit is easier to follow than deciding only after those signals appear.

Step away from the screen, do another activity and return only if the original limit still makes sense.

Promotions should not set your budget

A countdown, membership label or limited-time offer can create pressure to act. Decide your spending limit independently of the promotion. Missing an offer is less important than exceeding a budget you set for yourself.

Read any current conditions before acting, but do not treat a benefit as a reason to borrow money or increase losses you are trying to recover.

Keep shared finances transparent

If spending affects a household budget or money shared with another person, keep those commitments in mind before starting. Do not use funds reserved for joint bills or obligations without agreement.

Hiding transactions or moving money between accounts to avoid noticing the total is a reason to stop and review the situation.

Use security controls to support limits

Device locks, separate account passwords and controlled notification settings can reduce impulsive access and protect personal information. Do not share accounts or verification codes.

If you want a stronger barrier, use any verified time, spending or access controls provided by the relevant service or device rather than relying only on willpower in the middle of a session.

Seek support when limits are hard to keep

If you repeatedly exceed the limits you set, feel unable to stop, borrow money to continue or experience conflict because of Game activity, step away and seek support from people or services you trust. Acting early is more useful than waiting for the problem to become larger.
